Internet penetration and internet usage
The ratio of the regular internet users (meaning users surfing the
internet on a monthly basis) grew by 3% to 55 % in Q3-4 among the 15-69
aged Hungarian population. The ratio of frequent internet users (with
internet use at least once a week) rose to 52 % by 5% compared to 47% in
the last half year. The number of internet trialists exceeded these figures
with 63% (almost three quarters) in Q3-4 in 2009.
